Product: Dr. Scholl's Custom Fit Orthodic Inserts
My Rating: 5/5

In Short: These are a great product! Just open the package and toss these puppies in your shoes and you're good to go. Great comfort and support with these. I highly recommend heading out and using their kiosk to find the right fit for you! Don't forget the $10 mail in rebate!
The Details:
I don't know about you, but my job keeps me on my feet quite a lot. On top of that, I (just last week) took a new position on the Audit Team for Sam's Club which will likely put me on my feet even more! Call me corny (pun intended?), but I think feet are really important. With that said, I don't treat my feet well at all. I buy cheap shoes and wear them until they are junk. Typical mornings I wake up and my feet are sore, usually for at least a few hours. I don't know if the pain stops or if I just get used to it and forget about it. But why live with constant foot pain?
Queue in the Dr. Scholl's Custom Fit Orthodic Inserts! These babies are like walking on a cloud made for my flat, archless feet. Getting fit for them was extremely easy. I just popped into my local Wal-Mart, stepped onto the Dr. Scholl's kiosk and within a few minutes it had my feet mapped and a recommendation made. There are many different options available for all foot types. The kiosk recommended the CF440 for me. I somewhat begrudgingly paid the cashier $50.00 for these and headed back to my car. Yep, fifty bucks, but don't worry, it gets better...
Get in my car, shoes off, package torn open, and as fast as can be, I throw the inserts into my shoes. Here is my first compliment to these inserts; you do not have to trim them to fit your shoes. It's worth saying again, as anyone who has purchased the cheaper type inserts and pained themselves with cutting out their specific shoe size, you DO NOT trim these in the slightest! It's great, it's easy, and it's a selling point for me. Ok. Whew, got that out.
Obviously with something like this in your shoes there comes a weird feeling to get used to. After all, it is trying to correct whatever problems you have with the shape of your feet or how you walk on them. I can confidently say that I was used to them after only one day. The harder part was trying to not tell everyone how happy I was with the new found comfort I had discovered! I think I told the first three people I was working near and sent a text to my girlfriend before I settled down. Comfort redefined. Three days in and I am still commenting on the little things I notice as I walk in them that make them a great product.
So far I've only listed one real downfall in this product, and that is the price tag of $50.00 which seems steep as my shoes were only $30.00. Here is what I can say to that, and what made me decide to go ahead and purchase this item; the general consensus online is that these are of high quality and most people approve of the product, typically rated at 4 out of 5 stars. Finally there is also a $10.00 mail in rebate which brings the cost down to $40.00! That rebate is good through 1/15/13.
